A film about

forgivness & faith

Otto’s story expanded

Otto is an alcoholic ex-priest who clings to his fading faith by running a mobile confessional. When he breaks down in the insular town of Sanctuary, he is forced to stay with the town’s imperious reverend, Knox. But while struggling to raise money for repairs, Otto discovers Knox abusing his delinquent son, thrusting the reluctant priest into a family conflict that will not only test his faith, but make him confront a past he sought to bury.

Indulge me is about the grief. The grief of losing one’s faith, and the hope that can still blossom despite it.

Martin Molpeceres

Writer-Producer

“My favourite stories are about hope in the darkest of circumstances. Hope is not naivete or guilelessness, it is a great strength. I strive to imbue Indulge Me with this conviction.”

Clarinda Blais

Director

“I tend to stories that grapple with the idea that people are fundamentally good. I am particularly interested in the American working class, masculinity, and the defects of ambition.”
